A four-season lakefront home with a private deep-water dock off the back lawn. The Spacruzzi hot tub boat is included with the house, the heated swim spa runs all year, and inside there is a golf simulator game, a retro arcade, a private gym and a media room.

A hand-hewn 1884 log cabin with the Elk River running just below the back porch, close enough to hear from inside at night. Original logs and floors, a wood-burning fireplace, and a modern kitchen and baths. Five minutes to the lifts at Sugar Mountain.

Why book directly with you?
Booking here means 2 PM check-in and noon checkout at no extra charge whenever the night either side is free, offers we save for direct guests, and messages that go straight to your hosts. Checkout is handled securely through our booking site.
What are check-in and checkout times?
Standard check-in is 4 PM and checkout is 10 AM at all three homes, with self check-in by smart lock. Direct guests get 2 PM check-in and noon checkout whenever the night before and after their stay is open.
Is there a minimum age to book?
Yes. The primary guest must be at least 25 and staying for the whole trip.
Can we bring our dog?
Lake Forest Shores and Station House welcome dogs under 50 lbs with approval, and a pet fee applies. This Old River Cabin is pet free to protect its original 1884 logs and floors. Service animals are always welcome.
Is the Spacruzzi or the pontoon included at Lake Forest Shores?
The Spacruzzi hot tub boat is included with the house, with an orientation before your first use. The 16-passenger pontoon is an optional add-on that is tied up at our own dock, so there is no marina pickup. Ask us for current rates and dates.
Do we need four-wheel drive for the cabin?
The cabin sits just off a plowed state route, but the last short stretch is a gravel road that is not plowed. From November through March we recommend AWD or 4WD, and during active snowfall we ask that you have it.
How much parking is there?
Lake Forest Shores has room for 4 cars, Station House for 3 and This Old River Cabin for 2, all in the driveway.
Can we host an event or party?
Our homes are not available for parties or events, and any commercial use such as photo shoots or classes needs written approval before booking. If you are planning something special, message us first and we will talk it through.
